Attorney-Client Disclosure
When you submit a matter through Gungnir for Business, you are engaging the services of an IBP-licensed Philippine attorney — not Gungnir Labs.
Gungnir Labs is a technology platform that facilitates the connection between companies and attorneys. The attorney who accepts your matter becomes your attorney of record. The attorney-client relationship exists solely between you and that attorney's firm.
An engagement letter will be provided to you before substantive work begins. This letter formally establishes the attorney-client relationship and the scope of work.
Gungnir Labs does not practice law, does not provide legal advice, and is not a party to the attorney-client relationship.
How payment works
Two separate payments are involved in a matter on this platform, and they are not connected to each other.
Your attorney's legal fee. Your attorney sets this fee, quotes it to you before work begins, and tells you how to pay them. You pay your attorney directly, outside the Gungnir platform. Gungnir Labs does not collect, hold, process, or take custody of your legal fee or any portion of it, and receives no share of it. Your attorney may record the amount and their payment instructions in the platform so that they can be shown to you and tracked against your matter — recording that information is not the same as Gungnir handling the payment, and no payment is made through Gungnir.
Gungnir's technology fee. Gungnir Labs charges the attorney's firm — not you — a flat technology fee for each matter handled on the platform. Gungnir sets that fee unilaterally and in advance, from a fixed schedule of tiers based on the platform and AI work a matter type involves. It is not a percentage of, derived from, or adjusted by your attorney's legal fee, by what you pay, or by the value of your matter.
Gungnir Labs is not a party to any payment between you and your attorney, and does not act as an escrow agent, payment processor, or collection agent for legal fees.
